I am having technical issues trying to book online what do I do?

There is a 20-minute limit online to complete your purchase. Leaving tickets in the basket will not guarantee a sale.

What if an event if cancelled or rescheduled?
If a performance is cancelled, all bookers will be entitled to a full refund. The refund will be made to the same payment method.
In the event of a performance needing to be rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date. Customers unable to attend the revised date will be entitled to a refund.

Do I need to print my tickets?
Tickets do not need to be printed but please have them ready on your mobile device when you enter the venue so they can be scanned.

Can I return tickets if I can no longer attend a performance?
Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable and are sold subject to our full terms and conditions of sale.
Tickets may be accepted for resale only when a performance is sold out and an administration fee will be applied.
Exchanges may be made but only for a run of the same show, subject to availability.

How can I book tickets for the venue?
All tickets are to be booked online and e-tickets will be emailed directly to the main booker.
If you have not received your tickets in advance of the performance, please email haymarket-theatre@leicester.gov.uk or visit box office on the night of the show, located in the foyer near the main entrance.

Can I take photographs of the performance?
Photography and filming are strictly forbidden for all performances.

What time does the theatre open on performance days?
Doors to the venue will open an hour before and auditorium doors 30 minutes before the performance start time.

Are security checks in place?
There will be bag checks in operation upon arrival at the venue.

Can I bring a bag?
We would prefer it if you don’t bring a bag, but if you must please keep it as small as possible. Bags any bigger than 35cm x 25cm x 15cm (roughly the size of an A4 sheet of paper) will not be permitted into the venue, unless for medical use.
If a bag is deemed too large by our security team, they will request you return it to your car otherwise you may be refused entry.
Please note there are no cloakroom facilities available at the venue.

Do you have a cloakroom?
There are no cloakroom facilities currently at the theatre. Please don’t bring anything more than the essentials for your visit.

Is there any blue badge parking?
The closest car park is located adjacent to the theatre at the Haymarket Shopping Centre. There is access from this car park into the theatre via the lift.

Can I bring my own water bottle or food/drink with me?
Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, metal, glass, and hard plastic water bottles are not permitted inside the Hall. Cans are strictly prohibited inside the theatre.
Only food and drink purchased on the premises is allowed on the grounds, unless required for medical purposes or for feeding infants/young children.

What catering facilities do you have?
The theatre’s main bar is open one hour before the start time of the show, serving a selection of alcohol and cold drinks, and light snacks and refreshments.
The bars have an Under 25 policy so if you are fortunate enough to look under this age, we may ask you to prove you are 18 or over. The following forms of ID will be accepted – passport, photo driving licence, or government ‘Prove It’ card.
